I’ve been lusting after a colour correcting palette since i first set eyes on them on Instagram, I think they are such a great idea, though there are quite a few on the market I opted for the Collection #ConcealAndLightLikeAPro Palette, mainly because of how much i love the lasting perfection concealer and how much i love the brand itself, Collection is a brand which i adore and one which has gone from strength to strength since it’s rebrand back in 2012.

The #ConcealAndLightLikeAPro palette contains a total of 8 creamy colours all which can be used to colour correct and even contouring on those of us with fair skin! At first i must admit i thought where the hell do i start with colour correcting but once i had the time to sit and have a play around with the palette properly I’ve fallen in love. The palette contains 7 creamy concealers and 1 cream highlighter shade all with a cream to powder texture which when used together are perfect to conceal, highlight and brighten features for a flawless face! The concealer shades can be used together to create a shade which suits your skin tone to cover any blemishes, along with a little bit of contouring for those of us with fair skin, the yellow and highlighter shade can be used to brighten dark under eye circles. The green concealer can be used to neutralise any redness and help to even skin tone, and the purple shade helps to counteract sallow dull tones which the skin may have. I just use a small brush to apply the colours which i feel i need and blend them all together with my beauty blender, following with my favourite foundation.

Overall, the Collection #ConcealAndLightLikeAPro Palette has not let me down! It does everything i need it to do concealing blemishing, colour correcting and even contouring! All to give me a flawless base for my foundation. The cream to powder texture is really nice, it blends in really well so all in all its a big thumbs up from me!
