Benefits latest offering comes in the form of ‘Majorette’ a cream to powder booster
blush, now i still get a little confused as to why you would need to boost your everyday blusher but neither the less on first impressions i quite liked the colour of this blush alone so i still wonder as to why benefit hasn’t backed the product as a everyday cream blush because after giving it a couple of goes.. i think its pretty darn good on its own!First things first, the packaging! Usually Benefits blushers come in cardboard packaging but Majorette comes in a plastic casing, it’s super cute and round, almost tambourine shaped with a scalloped edging and detailing, giving it a sort of dancer feel to it. It also has a magnetic clasp to keep the lid firmly closed. As i said earlier, Majorette is described as a booster blush which is designed to sit under your favourite powder blush to amplify the colour. The colour is a gorgeous light peach and even though it looks pretty colourful in the pan as you can see in the picture once applied to the skin it sits on the skin as a light easy to wear coral with a peachy hue that i finds adds quite a pretty glow to the skin!
Overall, I really love benefits majorette, I use it pretty much daily now – although i don’t tend to use it as a blush booster i prefer to use it as a stand alone cream blush. I just think the light texture and the light coral colour is too pretty to cover up with another blush!
Have you tried Benefits Majorette? What do you think of the blush booster concept?
