Back to what I’m guessing you’ve come here to read about, not my little pity party (minus the ice cream) Yes my latest lipstick buy and trust me its a doozy! I recently bought this on a trip in super drug. In my little town super drug has finally moved further up into the main part which means i can now nip in there more resulting in the odd cheeky purchase every so often! Is this good or bad? Good i think! So i picked up a Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick, because i had heard quite a number of people say how lovely they was, so i gave them a little swatch on my hand and fell in love with this one, it’s called In Love With Ginger (which kind of reminds of of that old children’s TV programme ‘as told by Ginger’ please tell me I’m not the only one who used to love that programme!!) It is a gorgeous glossy, vibrant orange/red toned lipstick which when i wear it reminds me so much of Mac Lady Danger so i think we may have found a dupe here!? I must admit i just love how moisturising and nourishing this lipstick feels on my lips i can really see why they got the name moisture renew. Now as with most lipsticks with glossiness and the words ‘moisture’ in we can usually expect those sort of lipsticks to not last as long, but that is not the case with this lipstick, it lasted a good 4-5 hours with natural wearing going on.
So overall i am totally impressed, i got myself a really good lipstick in a pretty little purple tube which is also a mac dupe with just a slightly more glossy finish all for £6.49 .. plus it made me really want to watch ‘As told by Ginger’ again!
Have you tried the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks? What is your favourite shade?
