So it’s been a while since i updated my blog but I’m back with an absolutely perfect last minute Quick & Simple DIY Christmas Gift Idea. Everyone loves a DIY gift and this one is so quick and easy to make plus they don’t break the bank so you can make them for everyone on your list!

What you will need:

  • Hot chocolate mix (or easily make your own)
  • Peppermint candy canes
  • Chocolate chips
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Paper straw
  • Mason drinking jar

First of all take your mason drinking jar along with your hot chocolate mix, you can make your own mix or just buy ready made hot chocolate mix it’s completely up to you and fill the jar up about half way-ish. Next add a layer off chocolate chips.

Now its time for the candy canes take a couple of unwrapped candy canes in a plastic food bag, take a rolling pin and bash away until the candy canes are crushed to a consistency you are happy with, then add those into your jar. Finally finish off your hot chocolate mixture by adding mini marshmallows and screw on the lid.

To finish of the gift and add a personal touch i found a plain black gift tag, stuck it around the jar and added a personalised message along with a paper straw and another peppermint candy cane, you can never have to many candy canes when it comes to Christmas can you?

Is this not the cutest most quick and simple DIY Christmas gift idea?

Christmas Party Outfit Inspiration

So it’s December and I’m finally sharing my very first outfit post of the year, but that aside the christmas party season is upon us, so i thought i would share with you a little Christmas Party Outfit Inspiration for if your struggling on what to wear for your Christmas party, work’s do, anything christmas related! For me Christmas is the time of year where you can go all out, whether that be with your makeup, outfit or shoes!

I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone with a low V neckline, this is something which i never ever opt for, seeing as i feel i know, i’m just not very gifted in the chest area to fill out the V but i decided to step out that comfort zone of high necklines why it’s Christmas and try something a little more daring, while still keeping in my comfort zone with a trusty playsuit and my favourite colour! I absolutely love the colour of this playsuit the burgundy/wine colours are my absolute favourite autumn/winter colours, but for me the thing which ties the whole outfit together is the heels. These simple black strappy heels from Kurt Geiger are super girly and cute the bow is just perfect. I think the heels really make this outfit go from every saturday night to, watch out it’s CHIRSTMAS, plus is it just me or do the bows remind you of presents?

What will you be wearing for your Christmas party?

Givenchy is a brand which i haven’t really tried, although it is something which always catches my eye I’ve always wanted to try their foundations! This GIVENCHY Make Up Must Haves Palette is an Escentual exclusive and would make an absolutely perfect christmas gift!

The GIVENCHY Make Up Must Haves Palette can be used on the face, eyes, cheeks and lips which makes this the perfect travel/on the go palette. The palette includes the Teint Couture Long-Wearing compact Foundation SPF10 in Elegant Sand, 4 Le Prisme Yeux Eyeshadows with Infinite Finishes and Le Prismissime Lip & Cheek Formula in 2 colours. For me personally i find the powder foundation perfect for on the go touch ups, i wouldn’t use it to apply a full face of foundation. The shadows are absolutely beautiful, perfect for the upcoming party season the grey/silver glitter shade is my favourite and lastly two gorgeous creamy, pinky cheek/lip colours. I think this palette just screams Christmas/holidays without being the conventional holiday colours we’ve all come to know.

Overall i am so impressed with the GIVENCHY Make Up Must Haves Palette its beautiful, perfect for travel and comes in a real sturdy compact case. I guess the only downfall to the palette would have to be that it doesn’t come with more foundation shades to choose from, this one is definitely tailored to the lighter skin tones which unfortunately means it won’t be as useful for ladies with a darker skin tone. But foundation shade aside, the eyeshadows and cheek & lip colours are still really beautiful colours and lovely formulas so i do think this palette would make the perfect christmas present for a makeup lover!

The GIVENCHY Make Up Must Haves Palette is available exclusively at Escentual HERE.

Christmas Gift Guide Stocking Fillers Under £10

Christmas Gift Guide Stocking Fillers Under £10

I can’t actually believe how quickly this time of year has come around, we are now November 24th which means it’s 1 month away from Christmas Eve and i haven’t even began my own christmas shopping which scares the hell out of me! Moving swiftly on before i scare myself too much i thought i would put together a little Christmas Gift Guide full of Stocking Fillers Under £10 for both him & her!

I always find stocking fillers the hardest to buy, they’re something which you don’t want to spend too much money on, you want them to be slightly funny while still being personal to the person you’re buying the gift for! Talk about difficult so i decided to put together a his and hers ‘stocking fillers’ gift guide which will hopefully help some of you if your still struggling with stocking fillers! The His & Hers sections make it easy to follow too, although if you think something in my boys gift guide suits a girl, go for it and vice versa.

Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet or are you a last minute Lil like me?
