The way to sell me a product has got to be beautiful packaging and the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Collection* definitely hasn’t disappointed in that department, it features a kaleidoscopic pattern which is carried through from the palette through to the lipsticks inspired by the film, lift the lid of the eyeshadow palette and inside you will find a mirror iconic quotes from Alice in Wonderland along with a breath taking 3d butterfly!

Focusing on 5 of our favourite characters Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mirana (The White Queen), Iracebeth (The Red Queen) & Time (A creature who is part human, part clock) Urban Decay have given us a lipstick to represent each of these characters. Alice as you can imagine has a sweet sheer nude, The Mad hatter a bright purple shimmer, Mirana a matte berry shade with tonal shimmer, Iracebeth obviously a bright matte red and time a gun metal-navy with silver shimmer!

The characters also follow on into the eyeshadow palette, each column represents one of the 5 characters Alice again is sweet, soft and pretty also including a gorgeous periwinkle blue just like the iconic alice dress! The Mad Hatters shades are just that; bold, vivid and out there! Including a really pretty bold orange and pink which i just fell in love with! Mirana has gentle, neutral and frosty shades all which perfectly represent The White Queen! Iracebeth shades are  unique, bold and really well suited, it includes an amazing rust colour along with a shimmery turquoise! Heads will roll. And last but not least Time, metallic, gun metal and dark. These shade really suit the character as far as I’m concerned!

I am just so in love with the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Collection, I love that all the shades had been specially created just for this collection, even though some of them are a little out there I’ve really enjoyed giving them a go. I’ve been blown away by the whole collection, The shadows are all your standard amazing urban Decay quality and some of the colours which i ruled out on first glance have become to be a favourite of mine. So I guess theres something for everyone in this collection whether your a soft and sweet Alice, a Bold and Vivid Mad Hatter or even Industrial and Dark like Time. I think Urban Decay Definitely included something for everyone in here.

The Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Collection is limited edition and is sold out on line but there will be top up stock coming soon. So if you want something from the collection be sure to be quick.

Are you going to get something from the collection? Let me know in the comments!

  • Such pretty packaging, I’m not sure I would use the palette as some of the shades aren’t really me but it is pretty and the colours look stunning, the lipstick look lovely too xx
