For me, Kale is usually something i pick up for my rabbit to eat, but over the past year people have become somewhat obsessed with superfoods – If you don’t know what superfoods are all they are, are foods jam packed with nutrients which are considered to be beneficial for our health and well-being! Kale is one of these superfoods, and it not only is beneficial for our health it also is really good for our skin! Nip + Fab managed to bring us a whole range based on the superfood that is Kale. The Nip + Fab Kale Fix Range consists of the Kale Fix Make-Up Removing Pads, Kale Fix Moisturiser and the Kale Fix Clay Mask.
Kale Fix Make-Up Removing Pads
The makeup removing pads were the first thing i tried from the range, as soon as you open the lid you are hit with a smell of what i can only describe as ‘healthy & green’ that kind of healthy green smell which you imagine all healthy green things to smell like – they smell like that (hopefully we all think healthy/green things smell similar.) You get a total of 60 pads which are enriched with kale and watercress extract. Obviously as a ‘beauty blogger’ i would like to say i 100% always fully remove and cleanse my face etc etc… but sometimes things don’t always go as planned so they are a handy little back up to have, although i personally find the pads a little small and tend to go through quite a lot of the pads to remove a full face of makeup, they did do a fantastic job at removing my makeup and left my skin feeling super smooth, i just wish they was a little bigger!
Kale Fix Moisturiser
I suffer with dry skin so i was rather excited to try this out and see what the power of superfood kale could do for my skin, again the smell is the same as the makeup remover pads which I’m guessing will be the same across the whole range. The moisturiser is a thick constancy and again includes kale and watercress but also almond oil, aloe vera and shea butter, together all help to give skin a deep vitamin nourishment aswell as to soothe and hydrate! I found it left my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated, i just found the smell got a little sickly after a while as i’m not a huge fan of strong scents, but i wouldn’t let this put me off using it.
Kale Fix Clay Mask
I have never tried a clay mask before so i was most excited to try this. Said to be a supercharged clay mask enriched with minerals and witch hazel. It is supposed to draw away any unwanted skins impurities without drying out the skin and it turned out to be exactly what i needed from a mask. It would definitely be perfect for a friday/saturday night pamper session!
All in all, i am a huge fan of the Nip + Fab Kale Fix Range i think it’s the absolutely perfect skincare range for those who suffer with dry skin. It’s so moisturising and left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated, plus it’s perfect for those who would like to try out and see what superfoods can do for you and your skin!
