The Balm Mary Lou Manizer |

I write this post in the deepest most feeling sorry for my self mood that i have ever been in, looking back at my nicely pressed powder with no marks just takes me back to a happier time! Thanks to me being the clumsiest person ever not even 1 hour into owning this gorgeous highlighter, i dropped it, and i now have about 1 thousand tiny little pieces of my The Balm Mary Lou Manizer i suppose that sounds kinda cool.. but it really isn’t, trust me.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer has has its fair share of praise, many bloggers rave about this highlighter so i have no explanation as to why I’ve only just recently purchased it. First things first the packaging is fun, quirky and i just love the name, so clever, inside it holds a buttery-textured powder which is by no means a subtle but is not at all too glittery or heavy on the skin. It blends in really well being and is the perfect champagne/honey colour for brightening up the skin.

At £17.50 you get a whopping 8.5g of product, which is sure to last as a little goes a long way and it really is the most beautiful colour, i can not believe I’ve waited so long to purchase this!?  I may have to try more products from The Balm!

I have recently purchased this and I must say I’m not super impressed. When I swirl my brush in the product, lots of powder and dust flies up!

  • I would love to try this. I use MaC soft and gentle and Bobbi Brown for my highlighters at the moment. KBxx

  • I’ve had mine for ages but I would still be so devastated if I dropped it! But it is the most gorgeous highlighter I have ever used, it’s hard not to go overkill with it sometimes because of how pigmented it is.
