Tesco BD Trade Secrets Vital Skin Long Wear Foundation* | £9.99
Back when i was a a teenager, first becoming obsessed with makeup i remember becoming hooked on a Barbra Daly Mascara. BD launched in 1998 under the watchful eye of Barbra, sadly she is no longer with the brand but over the past 16 years the brand has continued growing and her secrets continue on in the BD makeup range. The brand has recently undergone a revamp with a whole new look, new innovative formula’s while still keeping an affordable price tag!
The BD Trade Secrets Vital Skin Long Wear Foundation comes with a total of 6 different colours to choose from, I went for the colour ‘3 – Warm Skin’ as i do like my foundation to give a tiny bit of colour to my face. The formula is creamy with an age defence treatment, algae extact & SPF20. I found it to be light on the skin; a medium coverage foundation but easily buildable, so for those who prefer a fuller coverage foundation the coverage can be there. I applied it with my beauty blender and found it to blend into the skin really well, it doesn’t seem to cake or settle into any unflattering lines! The finish is dewy which is what i like my foundation’s to be like although i did find it never really fully set, it transferred on my phone and felt almost wet until i set with my BD Trade Secrets Powder. The longevity of this foundation was fantastic, it lasted the whole day out without any evidence of wear specially around my nose or mouth area which is where my foundation usually shows signs.
Overall, I am really impressed with the new BD Trade Secrets Makeup Range. The BD Trade Secrets Vital Skin Long Wear Foundation receives top marks from me; it was light weight, the staying power was fantastic and i find the colour just perfect! This foundation leaves my skin looking and feeling really moisturised with a really healthy summer glow! For £9.99 i think this is such a great foundation specially for everyday wear!
