Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk | £16.00
Nude lip liners are my new best friend. A while ago now a Charlotte Tilbury counter opened in Manchester and it has taken me a real long while to head down and check it out, for why well I don’t particularly have a reason but a few weeks ago now i bit the bullet and made my first ever Charlotte Tilbury purchases, it was really hard to choose from such gorgeous products but i finally decided on the Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk & the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned Rose i couldn’t buy one without the other – they was recommended to go together so its only fair to keep them as a pair!
I’ll save the lipstick review for another day, today is all about the lip liner/lip cheat in Pillow Talk, it is basically my ultimate nude lip liner, it is the perfect colour, not too pink, not too brown it hits the nude spot perfectly! Now the full name of this pencil is “Lip Cheat Re-size & Re-Shape Lip Liner” meaning you can pretty much use this pencil to not only line your own lips, but also ‘outline’ your lips to create the illusion of a re-shaped/fuller lips, with Kylie Jenner’s lips being hot topic at the minute everyone is trying to create the look of fuller looking lips. Pillow Talk is a gorgeous pinky muted nude colour, as i said earlier not too pink or too brown – just perfect. The formula is smooth and velvety. It effortlessly glides along the lips with no pulling or tugging, looking completely opaque in just one go no need for endless back and forth-‘ing’ trying to get the colour to show.I am such a huge fan of this lip liner i know £16.00 seems a lot of money to swallow when you only get a little lip pencil, but i would spend it again and again for another two of these babies! (not that i need another two, one is enough but another colour? Yes please!) The formula is not drying it’s creamy and luxurious and stays put all day! The colour of pillow talk is the perfect nude making my lips look fuller and more plump, it’s a colour which always gets people asking what i have on my lips!
