Recently i have been trying to find myself a new affordable drugstore foundation for everyday use, and i managed to pick up two, i picked up the L’Oreal true match & Rimmel Match Perfection both have been lovely to use and its hard to pick a favourite but today i thought i would share with you the one which i think has piped the other ever so slightly to the post and the one i have been using pretty much none stop in my everyday make up routine lately!

Rimmel Say:

“Traceless coverage foundation with advanced smart-tone technology for perfectly flawless skin under any light. Enhanced with Sapphire Radiance for an illuminating glow. Lasts all day.”
I was a huge fan of Rimmel’s Wake Me Up foundation so i had high hopes for the stuff inside this little bottle, Said to be a Light Perfecting Radiance Foundation, the Rimmel Match Perfection ticked all the boxed of a foundation i usually go for, i went for the colour Classic Beige 201 and it also contains SPF 18. Classic Beige is the perfect match for my skin tone – which can be pretty hard to find which a drugstore foundation! The glass bottle with a simple blue lid gives this foundation a much higher end feel to it, than your average drugstore foundation plus the pump applicator means less mess and less foundation going to waste. I find this foundation is pretty fluid like but full coverage, so a little goes a long way – one pump covers my whole face! I struggle with quite dry skin specially around my nose area but i found this foundation didn’t cling at all it just left me with a lovely dewy finish which didn’t slip or budge from my face and lasted around 6 hours! – what more could a girl ask for in a foundation?
Overall, i am so pleased with this foundation it has great staying power and the colour and finish are just gorgeous! for £6.99 i think i have found myself a perfect affordable, great daytime foundation! I prefer this for a daily foundation to a nighttime foundation just because i still love my Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation for nights out and special occasions! But for the days this is definitely my go to foundation for now!
Have you tried Rimmels Match Perfection ?
