With the months getting colder and the air dryer now, the central heating being cranked up, i tend to find my skin becoming much more dry and problematic. This is something which i really don’t like about the autumn and winter months, it plays havoc on my skin and well its not acceptable and needs to be kept under control. When i was asked if i would like to try the YonKa Hydra No1 range* the fact that it supposed to help your skin maintain moisture and keep skin 144% more hydrated whilst also helping fight of signs of ageing, i just needed to try this miracle cream!
I’ve been using both the creme and serum for about a month now and i must say i absolutely love the results i have been getting, both the creme and serum have a lovely floral, fresh yet still very natural and not over powering scent (if you read any of my reviews you will find that i am not keen on overpowering scents.) so lets start the review –
YonKa Hydra No1 Serum*: So first of your supposed to apply the serum under the creme to get the maximum benefits out of the creme, The serum is made up of 95% natural ingredients which is something i love when using skincare, the more natural a skin product is, i feel the better it is for my skin. The serum is gel like in texture, it’s lightweight and easily sinks into the skin without leaving your skin feeling sticky or greasy. I also loved the how soft this serum left my skin feeling straight away, sometimes if I’m in a rush i will just use this on it’s own in a morning underneath my makeup i feel it makes my skin feel so much brighter on the days i use it.
YonKa Hydra No1 Creme*: Again like the serum the creme is made up of 95% natural ingredients, this smooth and velvety creme makes my skin instantly feel so much softer once i have applied it, i really like to apply this creme over the top of the serum at night time giving it all night while i sleep to work on my face, when i wake up in the morning i find my skin is very soft, moisturised and feels really bright and awake!
Overall: I am super pleased at how hydrated, bright and moisturised the serum and creme make my skin feel, the only downside to these beauties of products is the price tag, they are on the more expensive side of skin care, at £49 for the creme & £57 for the serum it can turn into quite expensive skin care routine, although after a month of using i still have quite a lot of product left and for the results and how well it’s helped keep my dry skin at bay i find the price tag is totally worth it for the results!
