Hello Everybody,
Today I’m talking about something which can be rather confusing, water types!
Yes i only properly found out about this a few weeks ago… depending on where we are in the country or even the world, we have different water types, some have hard water, some have medium water and some have soft water. These different water types all have different minerals & metal irons in them which effect our hair in different ways so the great people over at Area H20 have created special shampoo’s and conditioner’s which are made to tackle the effects of these mineral deposits from the different water types which get left on our hair!
So i found out from the map above that i live in a medium water area, so i was sent the shampoo and conditioner designed for medium water, i also was asked if i coloured my hair and i do so the shampoo which i was sent was also designed for coloured hair. I have been testing them out for a little over 2 weeks now and well i have noticed a difference, at first after using the Area H20 Shampoo my hair felt clean and well a little stringy but i was told about this before i started to try them out and told that this was just ‘the science’ getting to work removing all the metal irons from my hair, after a couple of washes this died down and it left my hair feeling back to normal again. The only thing i did notice was that the shampoo didn’t really lather up very well but to solve this i just decided to repeat the shampooing process as the second time around it lathered up perfectly!
The conditioner was good i found it left my hair feeling soft and silky without weighing it down any plus i didn’t get left with any fly away hairs which is what i like from conditioners!
Overall i have really enjoyed using the Area H20 shampoo and conditioner, I’m not too sure what my hair is supposed to feel like/how it’s supposed to feel different because i haven’t been in the different water types but all i know is that, i feel like the duo has improved the overall feel of my hair and it doesn’t feel as fly away as it usually does which is a win for any girl! i really like letting my hair dry naturally with this duo (I’m not sure why it just drys nice) which is good because I’m using no heat on my hair! plus the smell of this shampoo and conditioner duo is amazing it smells like sherbet!Have you tried the Area H20 products?
What water area do you live in?
