Review || Liz Earle Cleanse And Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish has been talked about for quite some time and a couple months back my skin routine was basically none existent, yes you heard correct… i was really bad with a skin routine. i basically wiped over my face with a face wipe and that was it, extremely rubbish! i feel i should bow my head in shame in the beauty world, So one week in boots i decided enough was enough and i bought myself the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser! And I’ve never looked back…I bought the starter kit which comes with the cleanser and 2 muslin cloths, and then got to work building my skin routine, i didn’t even wait as soon as i got home from the shops i tried it out right away… that’s excitement right there!
I absolutely LOVE this cleanser. I love applying the thick cream to my full face of make up, it does feel strange but i enjoy watching my make up melt away! (does that make me weird?) and It really does remove tough make up so easily and leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth and the most clean. I’ve never felt my skin so clean until using the Liz Earle Cleanser, the warm/hot muslin cloth helps to exfoliate the skin! – bonus!
I also love the smell, I’m not big on smelly, strong fragranced products but because this is sourced with natural active ingredients the smell is just so subtle its amazing! After using this in the morning i feel super refreshed and ready to tackle my day, and before bed it makes me feel so ready to sleep its crazy! (it’s as if my skin knows its bed time!)

Overall i just cant rave about this cleanser enough and i cant believe that its took me so long to buy an actual cleanser, now i just need to find a nice toner. I will get my skin a nice glow that’s my ultimate goal :) so if you guys have any skin care tips feel free to point me in the right direction!

Do you love the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish? What toner do you use?

  • I just ordered some Liz Earle products off line yesterday because everyone has been raving about them! I use Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel toner. The smell is like a grandma, but it works wonders. I don't know if they sell it in the UK though

  • This is an old staple – always have one in my collection.

Just about to pick up some Pixi glow tonic or the like to try and help my skin!

  • For a toner recommendation I've just got the La Roche Posay – Effaclar lotion which is an exfoliating toner. Already made me skin feel so smooth!

It is a lovely cleanser :) I don't know if it deserves all the hype in my opinion but it is lovely. The toner by Liz Earle is gorgeous though and I'm definitely re-purchasing that; I find it really refreshing and it smells lovely!

  • This sounds lovely! I want some so bad! Great review

  • I bought this after hearing all the hype over it. I don't know anyone that hasn't loved it. I've got very sensitive skin though, which it is meant to help, but I feel like this flares it up slighty! I hope not because as you said, the smell is amazing :).

  • This is my first time hearing about Liz Earl, but it sounds amazing and I'm always looking for new products to try!

I currently use Lancome and Clinique for my toners.

  • I need to invest in something like this! My skin care routine is pretty dire and my skin isn't thanking me for it!

Love your blog, I'm new and would love you to check mine out if you have the time!

  • I adore this stuff! :)

  • None of this makes you weird, I am the exact same. This is my all time favourite product and has been for the last year, at the moment I'm fully stocked up but I think I might cry when my stash ends and I have to go and buy more, but the price tag is so worth it! xo
