As i said in my latest MAC post on the paint pot
, I’m a serious eye shadow noob, but luckily for me when i attended the benefit ‘Fake Up’ event in Liverpool when they held a little pop quiz i was super lucky (for a change) and i won the worlds famous neutrals! I couldn’t believe it because i seriously hardly ever win anything! And this couldn’t of been more perfect for me because i had been looking at these little eye shadow palettes ever since they was launched!
There are three kits in total; Easiest Nudes Ever, Sexiest Nudes Ever and, the kit which i won, Glamorous Nudes Ever.. Each kit comes with two cream shadows, Birthday Suit (brushed chrome) and My Two Cents (polished copper) and four powder shadows. Call My Buff (pale shell), Kiss Me, I’m Tipsy (spiced brown), It’s Complicated (golden peach) and Gilt-y Pleasure (golden sand).
The colours in each kit varies but all still stays with in the ‘nude category’ which is a great idea, every girl loves nude eyes! And the colours in the Most Glamorous Nudes Ever are very me! It’s just full of warm bronze & brown’s, gold’s and copper colours super versatile and perfect for creating a handful of different looks and it really is just splendid for me!
For me i like to apply My Two Cents as a base colour all over the lid, i then go over the top of that with Gilt-y Pleasure, using Birthday Suit as a highlight and then Kiss my, I’m Tipsy in the crease and lower lash line. Its great for everyday wear or you could even jazz this up with a bright lip product and rock the evening look, It really does cater for every occasion!
Benefit are seriously on the ball with their products right now! the Fake Up concealer is one of my favourites and I’m loving each new Benefit product i try more than the next, at £23.50 its a great little gift for the special loved one or a perfect way to treat yourself if you need a mid-week pick me up! There so easy to use and even for an eye shadow novice like myself, i know i will be getting my use out of this little kit as all the colour are very wearable.Do you like the world famous neutral kits? which one is your favourite?
