Make Up Review: Clinique Repairwear Make Up

Hey lovelies!

So I’ve recently received a few emails asking me which make up I use, which I’m very flattered by! :) So thank you guys!

Anyways this led me to do this review! Let’s get on with it shall we? I received Clinique Repair wear make up as a Christmas gift, and I was over the moon! I’ve been wanting to buy Clinique make up for a very long time before I actually got some! It’s an anti aging make up which it’s never too early to start in my book! It comes in a 30ml bottle, it has a SPF of 15, which helps to protect against damaging UVA/UVB rays, plus it’s 100% fragrance free! First impressions, as this was a Christmas gift I never got to pick the colour myself so it is a little dark for my skin tone for everyday wear, but for that special night out were a little more effort is needed the colour is almost perfect! I got shade 07, porcelain beige.

First Impressions, as a foundation this is everything that I look for! It has a good SPF it has anti aging ingredients. I’ve been using this foundation for a good couple of months now and and even though it isn’t the perfect colour for me I just do a sneaky bit of foundation mixing! and it makes the colour perfect! The Application, I found that this foundation left a nice natural matte smooth finish, this oil free make up left my skin looking flawless and vibrant! Although I did find it had a habit of sitting on the skin so I found using a buffing brush solved this issue. The Longevity, this make up doesn’t make any outrageous claims that it lasts for 16 hours or anything silly like that which I like because then there is no empty promises, although I’ve found with wearing this foundation it does last a good 6 hours! Which is great! I do powder my nose and forehead lightly.

The Verdict, overall I am pleased with this with this foundation! It lasted it gave great coverage and it has a SPF of 15. It retails at £23.50 which is quite expensive but I have been using for a couple of months and I’ve still got more than half the 30ml bottle left, I would defiantly buy this foundation again once I have finally ran out.

Well I hope you have all had an enjoyable Monday! I’ve had a day off today YEY! So I’ve had a lazy blogging day spent with my lovely doggy! But it’s back to work tomorrow! So I’m back to evening blogging! Be sure to be following me on twitter (chelseayates1) for regular updates in the life of Chelsea :) not that much happens!
